R&D Center
As the core of the company’s technological innovation system, the R&D Center assumes critical responsibilities for new product development, process optimization, and the commercialization of technological advances. The Center boasts a highly experienced R&D team, with key members having over 30 years of expertise in the superhard materials industry, spanning disciplines such as mechanical automation, electrical engineering, and materials science, and amassing extensive field data and operational experience. Through continuous innovation and refinement, the Center has established a comprehensive industrial chain—covering product R&D, raw and auxiliary material preparation, production processes, and testing and quality‑control—and mastered all core technologies. Every stage of this chain is underpinned by independent R&D and lean manufacturing.
The R&D center is equipped with a comprehensive testing system, with key instruments sourced from renowned international manufacturers and leading domestic research institutions in the abrasives and grinding tools sector. Testing methods cover a wide range of parameters, including laser particle size analysis, magnetic analysis, bulk density, impurity content, scanning electron microscopy, thermal shock toughness, cold‑shock toughness, and particle size distribution, ensuring product quality meets international standards. The center has been officially recognized by the government as a high‑tech enterprise, a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprise, a Henan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center, and the Xuchang City Ultra‑Hard Materials Technology Innovation Center. To date, it holds 34 patents and has achieved breakthroughs in critical process technologies such as microwave‑assisted high‑temperature reduction of graphite rods, reducing the conventional vacuum‑furnace reduction time from eight hours to just 90 minutes—significantly boosting production efficiency while cutting energy consumption. In addition, the R&D center has established long‑term industry–university–research collaboration partnerships with institutions including China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) and the Abrasives and Grinding Tools Research Institute of Henan University of Technology, continuously driving technological advancement and industrialization within the sector.
